1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website, making a reservation, or entering the property, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

• All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.
• Payment is processed through our booking partner, Checkfront. Card details are handled by their secure payment processor.
• Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling policies are presented at the time of booking and within your confirmation email. Please review them carefully before completing your reservation.
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule reservations due to weather, river conditions, or other safety concerns. In such cases we will offer a credit, reschedule, or refund per the booking policy.
• Check-in for overnight cabins is 3:30 PM; check-out is 11:00 AM unless otherwise noted.

3. Waivers & Property Rules

Every guest entering the property must sign a liability waiver in favor of Son's Island Getaways and Son's River Ranch (available at /waivers). Minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.

Guests agree to follow all posted property rules, including but not limited to: no glass containers near the river, no fireworks, no unauthorized swimming or tubing outside designated areas, proper disposal of trash, and respectful behavior toward staff and other guests. We reserve the right to remove any guest violating these rules without refund.

4. River Use & Assumption of Risk

Tubing, kayaking, swimming, and other river activities involve inherent risks including but not limited to drowning, injury from rocks or debris, sun exposure, and changing water conditions. By participating, you acknowledge these risks and assume full responsibility for yourself and any minors in your party.

Life jackets are recommended for all guests and required for children. Always check current weather and river conditions at /weather before entering the water.

5. Photo & Video Release

By visiting the property, you grant Son's Island Getaways and its affiliated brands (including Son's River Ranch) the right to use photos and videos taken on the property — including images in which you may incidentally appear — for marketing and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify staff on arrival.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, photos, videos, logos, and the "Son's River Ranch" name — is the property of Son's Island Getaways or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Son's Island Getaways, its owners, members, employees, affiliates, and the Son's River Ranch property shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, the property, or any activities conducted on the property. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Guadalupe County, Texas.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates take effect when posted to this page; the "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the site or property after changes constitutes acceptance.
